The Science, Engineering and Technology Board is a youth leadership opportunity. Members of the SET board serve to help promote projects that are SET related, develop and promote educational programs for Louisiana Outdoor Science and Technology camp, provide technical assistance at 4-H events, and promote parish SET teams.

Members must be enrolled in grades 9-12 and must be enrolled in a SET related project. These include: aerospace, electricity, photography, environment, pet care, horticulture, health, foods and nutrition, insects/entomology, machines, outdoor skills, livestock, vet science, plant science, dog care, and communications.
