4-H University 2009
Louisiana 4-H'ers are ready to compete June 23-25. Participants in 4-H are known for their prize-winning animals and giving back to their communities through ambitious service projects. But at 4-H University, these students will compete in contests ranging from computer simulation to sports broadcasting. |
Bienville 4-H Summer Camp
Bienville Parish 4-H'ers attended 4-H Camp June 1-5. The camp was held at the LSU AgCenter's Grant Walker 4-H Educational Center, an 80-acre camp located near Pollock, La. Twenty-seven youth, six teen counselors, two adult volunteer leaders and the Bienville Parish 4-H agent attended. |

JET Returns
Jurors Empowering Teens (JET) will take off on Monday, June 29, 2009. This summer youth enrichment program will employ 16-18 year old students at various jobs during their summer break. The program will employ two 4-H members and one non-4-H member from each police jury district. |
