Make plans to join Layne Langley with the LSU AgCenter for Kids in the Kitchen Program. The program will consist of four sessions. Children and parents/guardians will learn about food safety, cooking skills, and nutrition as well as participate in hands-on food preparation.
Dates for the Kids in the Kitchen are: June 29, July 1, July 6, and July 8 from 6:00PM – 7:30PM at the West Feliciana LSU AgCenter Office located at 10032 West Feliciana Parkway in St. Francisville.
Space is limited to 8 families of four. Children ages 8 to 12 are welcome to participate. The program fee is $30 a family and must be paid by money order made payable to LSU AgCenter. To register, turn in your $30 money order along with names of participants, ages of the children, contact number, and email address by Tuesday, June 15. You may also mail your money order and registration information to Layne Langley, P. O. Box 1934 St. Francisville, LA 70775, but it is “first come, first serve.”
