(Video 04/07/22) Farmers across southwest Louisiana are entering the final stages of rice planting while rice farmers in the northeast corner are just beginning. Like all farm commodities, this year’s rice crop is a very expensive one. LSU AgCenter correspondent Craig Gautreaux has this report from southwest Louisiana.
