This training is for current Certified Commercial or Private Pesticide Applicators who need to add and/or update their Worker Protection Standard Trainer status. If you have not attended a WPS Train-the-Trainer program since November of 2018 and would like to continue to provide WPS Training to workers and handlers, then you need to plan to attend a WPS Train-the-Trainer training. By attending this meeting, you will be certified as a Worker Protection Standard Trainer. Once you complete this training, you can recertify this category at your normal recertification training. This training event will be a HYBRID training. You have the option to attend in-person (up to 25 persons) or virtually on Microsoft TEAMS. If you attend virtually you will need to have a working computer with good Internet and a camera so that your participation can be monitored by LDAF. A 'virtual' link for the event will be sent the week before the event. Note: Please pre-register for this event and specify how you wish to attend (either in-person or virtually).
