Avoyelles 4-H 5K/1 Mile Clover Run

Join us for the 1st Annual 5K/1 Mile Clover Run benefitting Avoyelles 4-H. The race will be held on Saturday, March 15th at the Avoyelles 4H Office located at 8592 Hwy 1, Mansura, LA v71350. Race time is 8:00 a.m. Awards will be given for the top 3 5K finishers in age category, top 3 finishers in the 1 mile fun run, best dressed for St. Patrick's Day and many more! Cost is $20.00. Register by February 28th to guarantee a t-shirt. To register, please print the form at the bottom of the page and return it with $20.00 to the Avoyelles Parish Office. 2025 Scott Truck & Tractor Scholarship

  • The Scott Foundation, over the past 32 years has awarded scholarships in 75 parishes and counties in Louisiana and Arkansas. The Scott Truck & Tractor Scholarship can be awarded up to $500 depending on the number of applications submitted. 4-H offers a wide array of activities, and this scholarship can be awarded to any eligible 4-H member.

2025 4-H Senior Honor Cord Application Launch

  • To recognize graduating 4-H seniors, the Louisiana 4-H Foundation sponsors the 4-H Honor Cord Award. Please visit the following 4-H Honor Cord application link for award criteria and information and share the link with your senior 4-H Members via email, upcoming newsletters, social media, etc.

  • The state deadline for submission is Friday, February 14th.

2025 Farm Bureau Scholarship

  • Information for the 2025 Farm Bureau Scholarship program is now available.
  • Farm Bureau will award five scholarships in May to students who are majoring in agriculture. An informational flyer is attached below.

2025 Louisiana 4-H Scholarship

  • Applicants must be a 2025 graduating high school senior and entering college or technical school in the Summer or Fall of 2025.
  • There are 40 scholarships (and growing!) ranging from $250-$3500
  • Deadline to apply is February 21, 2025.
