Volunteer training is essential so that volunteers not only understand the expectations of their role but have the skills, competencies, and information necessary to be successful. The LSU AgCenter is committed to providing opportunities for youth and adult volunteers to participate in quality professional development training designed to meet their specific needs.
The Northeast Louisiana Area Volunteer Leader Forum offers adult volunteers from in and out of the classroom to come together to increase knowledge and expertise in managing and directing their clubs and club members. The one-day training meeting includes a wide variety of breakout sessions, lightning round discussions and guest speakers. A light luncheon is provided.
