St. James 4-H was well represented at the Southeast District Foods Cookery Contest held at Southeastern Louisiana University recently. 4-H'ers were able to compete in a number of different contests based on their winning at the St. James Parish 4-H Cookery contests held in November.
Placings were as follows:
Seafood Crab - White Ribbon - Nydia Cooper, Member at Large Shrimp - White Ribbon - Austin Laiche, Paulina Elementary Fish - 1st Place - Sasha Rocquin, St. James Community Club Crawfish - White Ribbon - Sadie Lear, Member at Large
Beef Low Calorie - 1st Place Victoria Rocquin, St. James Community Club One Dish Meal - Red Ribbon - Nydia Cooper, Member at Large
Egg Appetizer - Red Ribbon - Kaylee Bourgeois, Science & Math Academy Gifted & Talented Main Dish - 3rd Place - Abby White, St. James Community Club Dessert - Red Ribbon - Victoria Rocquin, St. James Community Club
