What is Achievement Day?

A reward for being a 4-H member during the 2014-2015 school year, Achievement Day is a mixture of fun sessions and competitive exhibits that will focus on 4-H topics. The day ends with a club song/yell contest and awards being given out. 4-H members from all St. Martin parish 4-H clubs will be there. Don’t miss out on the fun!

How do I go?

Transportation will be set up by your club leader. In order to attend you must have turned in a completed 4-H Portfolio for judging by February 28, 2015 or turn in a completed 4-H Portfolio that will not be judged by April 1, 2015.

What do I wear?

All 4-H’ers attending Achievement Day must follow the dress code. Pants: wear school uniform pants or navy blue dress pants. Shirt: wear 4-H shirt or school uniform shirt. With the approval of the 4-H leader and principal, 4-H clubs may allow students to wear their school’s approved spirit day clothes.

Fun Sessions:

This year your club will rotate through some interactive activities during Achievement Day that teach about fitness, food, and fun! If you want to volunteer to lead a session, email Ms. Laura at lbrumbaugh@agcenter.lsu.edu by April 10, 2015.
