The Premier Exhibitor Program is a means of recognizing 4-H and FFA exhibitors in their livestock knowledge and skills, by shifting emphasis away from the animal and more towards the exhibitors.
Within the Premier Exhibitor Program youth demonstrate their livestock knowledge and skills by completing a written exam, a skillathon, and participating in showmanship.
The Acadiana District Livestock Show (ADLS) Premier Exhibitor Program is open to exhibitors in the 8th through 12th grades. The Acadiana District Livestock Show was held at the University of Louisiana in Lafayette (ULL) Blackham Coliseum Complex in Lafayette, LA on January 26-28, 2013.

In Swine Premier Exhibitor Program; Emily Chauvin (Senior at Hanson Memorial High School) placed First /Overall Swine Premier Exhibitor" and Logan Hebert (freshman at Hanson Memorial High School) placed Fifth.
In Sheep Premier Exhibitor Program; Dustin Rogers (Junior at Hanson Memorial High School) placed Second.
In Beef Premier Exhibitor; Alex Lovell (Eight Grader at Hanson Memorial High School) placed third.
