On Thursday, April 26, 2011, 11 4-H members from St. Mary Parish competed at the Annual Area Commodity Cookery Contest held in Houma, La. These 4-H members qualified for this contest by placing first in their category at the parish cookery contest held during the Harvest Moon Festival in October 2010. Contestants participated in a Consumer Education Scavenger Hunt while the judges tasted the 4-H members' delicious dishes. Congratulations to al the talented chefs from our parish!
