Plant sale set for March 27 in Baton Rouge

(03/15/21) BATON ROUGE, La. — The East Baton Rouge Master Gardeners annual plant sale will be held at the LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden on March 27.

The sale will open at 8 a.m. with ticketed one-hour time slots until 2 p.m.

Shop from more than 3,000 homegrown perennials and annuals specifically selected by the East Baton Rouge Master Gardeners for success in your garden.

“Due to crowd limitations, all attendees are required to purchase a ticket for one-hour scheduled time slots,” said Jeff Kuehny, resident director of the AgCenter Botanic Gardens. “The ticket cost will be credited to your plant purchase on the day of the sale.”

To obtain a ticket, visit the Eventbrite website at www.brmgplantsale.eventbrite.com. Admission is $10 per person.

Ticket cost will be credited to your purchase on the day of the sale. Limited tickets are available for each time slot.

Refunds will not be offered if you are unable to attend. Instead, the ticket cost will be considered a donation.

The sales raises money to support the educational activities of the Master Gardeners and the LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens.

Masks and social distancing are required, and pets will not be permitted in the plant sale area.
