Master Gardeners to present plant health clinic, presentations on June 30 at the Main Library

(06/08/22) BATON ROUGE, La. — The East Baton Rouge Master Gardener Association will present a plant health clinic and talks on fairy gardens and terrariums on Thursday, June 30, at the Main Library located at 7711 Goodwood Blvd.

The talks, scheduled for 6:30 p.m., are free and open to the public, but seating is limited. The plant health clinic will begin at 6 p.m.

A plant health clinic will help identify and solve plant health problems.

Louisiana Advanced Master Gardener Kitty Bull will lead the evening with fairy gardens.

Her presentation will include a short PowerPoint on children’s fairy and critter theme-related container gardens.

Louisiana Master Gardener Angie Wall will next present terrific terrariums.

Terrarium gardening became extremely popular in the 1800s and has found new popularity in the 2000s. The terrarium presentation will go over the materials, such as the appropriate soil, tools, plants and containers, that are needed to create a delightful garden under glass.
