The 4-H Summer Intern will work with the 4-H Youth Development Agent and other staff to plan and carry out tasks and responsibilities related to 4-H programs and activities. These may include, but are not limited to, 4-H University, 4-H Summer Camp, 4-H LOST Camp, Jr. Leader program, workshops, and assisting with 4-H correspondence. The intern will also be asked to help coordinate social media and 4-H marketing and communication efforts. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
Evaluating interns’ performance based on the goals and objectives set at the beginning of the internship is a good way to measure their success. This method helps to ensure that the interns are meeting the expectations set for them at the start of the program. It also provides a clear way to assess their progress and determine whether they have achieved their goals. By setting clear objectives and measuring progress against them, you can help ensure that your interns are getting the most out of their experience and that your program is successful.
