The 2020-2021 Shooting Sports Registration forms and the 2020-2021 Louisiana Shooting Sports Handbook are now available! You can find them on this page in pdf format.

  • All completed forms are due to the 4-H office by Friday, October 16.
  • Shooting Sports practices will begin in November this year. Be sure to follow the Shooting Sports Facebook Page in order to keep up with the most up-to-date information.
  • We still have three disciplines: Archery, Rifle, and Shotgun.

Important Note: If there is an existing 4-H club at your school, you may sign up to become a 4-H member at that school, if you choose to do so. If there isn’t a club at your school, that does not stop you from signing up to be part of our Shooting Sports Program! You have the option of enrolling in our 4-H program as a Member-At-Large, whether or not you have a club at your school. In order to be enrolled in our Shooting Sports Program, youth must be enrolled as a regular 4-H member as well. There is a separate form and fee for each. The Ouachita 4-H Enrollment Forms for 2020-2021 are available here.

The fee for regular 4-H enrollment is $5 this year. The Shooting Sports fee is $10. (A Shooting Sports Member must be enrolled in 4-H.) Checks are payable to Ouachita 4-H. Checks and completed forms may be mailed or placed in our drop box in the back of the building at 704 Cypress Street, West Monroe, LA 71291.

Other Important Information:

  • We will Not have a face-to-face meeting for New Shooters this year. Information will be sent virtually in October. More information will be announced at a later date.
  • We will Not have a Round Robin this year. However, once practices begin, enrolled shooting sports members may attend a practice at each discipline in order to see what their preference will be. Practice information will be available in October.
  • Safety Guidelines will also be announced soon.
  • Please be sure to join the Ouachita 4-H Facebook Page as well as the Ouachita Shooting Sports Facebook Page to get the most up-to-date 4-H information.

We are looking forward to a great year!
