Poultry Bleeding and Rabbit Tattoos

When: January 16th at 3:00 pm

Where: Shady Park in Central

If you plan to show poultry this year you must attend the poultry bleeding to get health papers to show at the LSU shows. Dr. Rachel Anderson will be conducting the bleeding. All rabbits must be tattooed. If your rabbit needs to be tattooed please attend. This is a good opportunity to learn from older exhibitors about showing your project if you need help in the poultry and rabbit projects .

LSU State Show

February 13th – 20th at Lamar Dixon, Gonzales, LA

Please see State Livestock Show Schedules for each species and combined species schedule. There have been some revisions to the schedules. Schedules are subject to changes based on any updates to state COVID 19 guidelines.

The Swine schedule includes an explanation of why we have planned for two days of qualifying/sifting which may change based on numbers qualified at district shows. We are also working on show committee assignments and hope to have a list of superintendent needs by the end of week. This may be confusing to our exhibitors, but in order to plan for all possibilities we had to schedule for the worst case scenario which is subject to change at any point.
