LSU State Livestock Show

March 10th - 12th

Lamar Dixon, Gonzales, Louisiana

Important Reminders

  • Health Papers
All animals (except rabbits) must have health papers to participate in the LSU State Livestock Show. Please bring your health papers with you to the show and make sure your health papers are still valid for the show. Health papers are only good for 60 days in state.
Goat exhibitors must also have a scrapies tag or ID accompanied with their goat.
  • COVID 19 (positive cases/quarantine)
We must take extreme caution at our upcoming shows. I understand the time and effort exhibitors and their families put into livestock projects; however, we highly encouraged anyone who is not feeling well not attend the State Show to limit exposing others to illness. We have a hardship process that will allow another 4H or Future Farmers of America member to exhibit animals of COVID 19 exposed and/or sick exhibitors during the exhibitor’s time of illness or quarantine.

Entry Fees

$40 per exhibitor for large animal (due at State Show payable by check/ money order)
