A 4-H program is nothing without the help of great volunteers. This month's volunteer of the month is Patti Rodrigue! She helps the Jr. Leaders grow, learn to serve others. One of the events she assists her Jr. Leaders to help is the Ag Day at the Fast Food Farm. She is always organizing fundraisers for the 4-H'ers, including places like Raising Canes and Tractor Supply. Thank you for being an amazing 4-H volunteer.

On July 19, 2017, Ms. Clifton along with 5 chaperones took 12 4-H students to the Infinity Science Center in Pearlington, Mississippi. The 4-H students toured the NASA Stennis Space Center test site. The trip included a guided, behind-the-scenes bus tour of Stennis Space Center, including NASA and its resident tenant federal, state and commercial labs and offices. The 4-H students were able to interact in exhibits and activities, live presentations and digital movies in INFINITY’S domed theater.
Some of the things that the 4-H students learned on the tour included: as of September 2014 there have been 40 missions to Mars, including orbiters, landers and rovers but not counting flybys. The most recent arrivals include the Mars Curiosity mission in 2012, the MAVEN mission, which arrived on September 22, 2014, followed by the Indian Space Research Organization’s MOM Mangalyaan orbiter, which arrived on September 24, 2014.
The 4-H students really enjoyed the tour to Infinity Science Center. Questions were asked to the tour guide about going to space and the space ships.
