Position Description: Provide support for all aspects of field research conducted by faculty at the Sugar Research Station. It will be necessary to perform all types of farming practices related to sugarcane production in a research environment. Incumbent should be willing and able to perform physical work outdoors.
Qualification Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in plant sciences, agronomy, entomology, horticulture, or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Knowledge of farming practices and operation of farm machinery is highly desirable. Knowledge and experience in working in an agricultural research setting and computer skills also are desirable.
