Work Location: Grant Walker 4-H Educational Center, Pollock LA
Position Description: This position will serve as a member of our 2021 4-H Camp Traveling Road-Show program. This position includes a week-long training program and approximately eight week-long camps. The staff member will be responsible for teaching specific subject matter in an educational format to an audience of up to 30 4th-6th grade youth at a time. Training will be provided prior to program dates to allow staff to prepare instruction. Staff will have various recreational responsibilities that could include the following: camp store operation, arts & crafts, archery, foam hatchet-throwing, line dancing, relay races, and more. Camp staff work under the direct supervision of the 4-H Program Coordinator who serves as supervising professional to implement all policies and procedures of the 4-H Summer Camp, LSU AgCenter, and the Louisiana 4-H Youth Development Program.

Salary and Benefits: Salary will commensurate with experience. Housing options are available on-site, meals and snacks will be available.
Date Available: Camp session is June 1 – August 1, 2021. Required training period will take place one week prior to camp session.
