 The team that guided the development of LaHouse Resource Center included, from left to right:

Roy Domangue of Wooden Creations, is the general contractor who built the LaHouse facilities.  Roy is well known and respected as a high energy efficiency builder with a commitment to education of both consumers and his fellow builders.

Dr. Claudette Reichel, Professor, Extension Housing Specialist and LaHouse Project Chair, spearheaded the project and engaged many in its design, specifications and vision.

Sandra Scallan (center), LaHouse Coordinator was a  long-time and active LaHouse volunteer before becoming the first LaHouse Coordinator working with both the construction process and launching of its programs.

Dr. Rodney Hendrick
(far right), LSU AgCenter water quality specialist (now retired), was LaHouse site coordinator. Rod’s expertise in best management practices, water quality, waste management and entomology and work with horticulture faculty will be a tremendous asset in managing the LaHouse Site and its educational programs.
